We calculate every hour of the year
Our approach rests on two tools: a digital model of the facility for all 8,760 hours of the year, and the Five Case Model for justifying the project. The first gives accurate numbers; the second turns them into a solution that can be financed and delivered.
8,760-hour digital model (Digital Twin)
What it is. A digital copy of how the facility works: an hourly model of energy consumption, generation and storage for all 8,760 hours of the year — instead of averaged annual figures.
What the bill consists of. An electricity bill has four parts, and each changes by its own rules:
- the market price of energy — changes every hour;
- the delivery tariff;
- supplier services;
- the consequences of your own consumption profile.
We determine and record all four parts for each of the 8,760 hours — only then is modelling possible. We show separately which of them the client can influence.
Why it matters. Averages hide the critical hours: no wind or sun, peak load, grid constraints. These hours define the real economics of a project, not the annual total.
What it gives.
- An accurate cash-flow forecast instead of rough estimates.
- Comparison of options: own consumption, selling energy to the market, storing it and selling at more expensive hours.
- The same basis both for reviewing someone else's project and for creating your own.
The price of an hour varies twenty-six-fold

Five Case Model
A project justification standard developed by HM Treasury (UK). We use it as the structure for pre-investment justification: every solution is checked from five sides.
- Strategic case — is the project needed, and does it match the goals of the community or company.
- Economic case — comparison of options, including the "do nothing" option, and the benefit of each.
- Commercial case — can a deal be made: who supplies what, under which contracts.
- Financial case — how much the project costs, where the money comes from and whether it is enough.
- Management case — who delivers the project and according to which plan.
Banks, international financial institutions and donors understand this structure: they get answers to their questions in the order they are used to.
How the two tools work together
The 8,760-hour digital model provides the numbers. The Five Case Model turns them into a justification on which a community council, an investment committee or a bank makes its decision.
